Athletic announcements:

Congratulations to the HMMS Diamonds Cheer Team for their first place finish in the Bayside Middle Laskey Cheer competition! Way to go Diamonds! We look forward to the remaining competitions this spring.

The JV boys volleyball team has been chosen. Congratulations to those boys who made the team. The first team practice will be tomorrow after school until 4:30.


The varsity girls and boys volleyball will practice today from 3:15 - 4:45.


JV girls practice today from 6 - 7:30.


The last day to sign up for the 2Ball competition is today.

Band and Choir announcements

Today: Choir 1^st half of lunch today followed by percussion rehearsal 2^nd half.

                 Band rehearsal after school from 3:00-4:30.

Tuesday: flute and clarinet rehearsal 2^nd half of lunch

This week on Friday will be School Spirit Day! Get your HMMS clothing and blue and white all prepped for a big blue day on Friday!

March 18^th is National Sloopy Joe Day – yummy! And it’s also National Awkward Moments Day - Have you ever called someone by the wrong name, tripped over nothing, walked into a door, had the completely wrong words come out of your mouth, or just forgotten what you were doing?  The list could go on and on. Sometimes, things just do not seem to go right and something happens that may make you feel like you want to run and hide. No matter the day, today, or any other day, everyone has them.
